Experience what it would be like if...
More than 25 years ago, BMI began organizing the first seminars in Southwest Florida on purchasing real estate and new construction together with its corporate partner AVATAR, the developer of the city of Cape Coral at the time. Since then, this idea has been copied many times. The original, with the motto "Experience what it would be like if..." is now being reissued by BMI.
On a small, individual basis, those interested in real estate can receive tailored information on all aspects of property acquisition, new construction, property management and rental. As in the past, those interested will be comprehensively and completely informed about the purchase or construction after around seven days and may be able to spend their next vacation in their own home.
Many homeowners who have realized their dream of owning their own home in Florida with BMI can confirm the seriousness of our work.
Together with our team, we are at your disposal throughout your stay.
If you have rented a house for our seminar program "Experience what it would be like if...", we will work with you to develop an individual, personal schedule that is tailored to you. This program usually looks like this:
- Day:
Detailed demonstration of preparing a house for rent and the check-in process. Afterwards, discussion of the seminar course in the BMI office on Cape Coral Parkway.
- Day:
Information about financing options in the United States, purchase contract or construction contract processing, property management, tax and inheritance law.
- Day:
Breakfast together, questions and answers, selecting property offers and subsequent viewing tour. Afterwards, discussion of all the offers seen at BMI and determination of the next steps.
- Day:
Re-discussion of all properties inspected the previous day and, if necessary, re-inspection. Discussion of a possible operating cost calculation, a shortlisted property and, if necessary, assessment of the occupancy rates.
- Day:
Furnishings and equipment, conclusion of contract possible, opening of a bank account at an American bank.
- Day:
Breakfast together, questions and answers, in the case of construction contracts, sampling takes place for the rest of the day.
- Day:
Discuss the further schedule in the BMI office, processing the purchase contract or construction site report, purchasing furniture and equipment, answering all open questions.
In between, or for the rest of your stay, you have the opportunity to spend plenty of time at the pool. Those who are not familiar with the region can of course also receive detailed information from us about the surrounding area and the leisure activities available.
Our lectures are conducted and supported by specialists such as tax consultants, lawyers, brokers and our entire well-trained team. Thanks to our experience, you will leave Cape Coral after these days with the feeling that you have done the right thing.
